Kris Maya

  • Action rogue-lite
  • Isometric
  • Android
  • PC soon

Every run is one night's performance that old Semar plays behind the white screen. Batara Kala, the giant who devours time, has broken free and the clock of the world has stopped at the hour before dawn.

Semar cuts a new puppet in the image of the prophet-king Jayabaya, hands it the keris Kyai Maya and lights the lamp. The shadow steps off the screen and into the world. Every death, it slides back onto the kelir, and the play starts again.

Kyai Maya

Three-cut combos, a keris thrown in a serpent's wave, rooting rajah sigils and Banaspati fire.

Lampah Wayang

Dash through anything. For a heartbeat you flatten into a black leather shadow puppet.

Berkah of the Gods

Wind, sun, sea and thunder: mix the gods' blessings into a different build every run.

Four Acts

From the rotting kraton of Yogyakarta to the crater where Batara Kala waits.

Hop on a scooter and race the island of the gods. Weave through Kuta's beach traffic, drift past Ubud's rice terraces, climb the volcano roads of Kintamani and fly along the Uluwatu cliffs, all on a humble matic scooter, a Vespa, or something much faster.

Bali's roads are full of life. Ride round a melasti procession, slow down for a ceremony and don't crush the canang offerings: good karma blesses your ride, rushing through earns a curse.
